KUGR: Cougar College Radio is a student-run online radio station run out of the Murrow Complex at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington.

Our mission is to provide students with an opportunity to discover and hone their passion for broadcasting in a creative & authentic radio setting.

KUGR was founded in 1954 and operated as a sports and rock radio station.  Today our uniqueness derives from the creative freedom of its On-Air Talent. Shows include an eclectic range of genres and topics in music, talk, and sports: including artist interviews and live coverage of Cougar athletics.

Regardless of major, anyone interested is encouraged to get involved! Help is always welcome in the Promotions, Fundraising, Sports and Production departments. Special Projects credit is also available for members of the board.

On-Air Talent applications are available in Murrow East 301.

Feel free to email our General Manager, John Reichel, at john.reichel@wsu.edu with any other questions.
