In The Studio With Corey Harper

KUGR Cougar College Radio presents up and coming artist Corey Harper February 16 for an intimate concert at Washington State University.

Harper is originally from Vancouver, Washington, but moved to Los Angeles to pursue his career in music. Since then he has toured with artist such as Cody Simpson, Niall Horan, and Justin Bieber.

Harper blends the styles of folk, Americana, country, and blues creating a unique individual style that pays tribute to singer songwriters of the past/present.

In an article about Harper Rolling Stone magazine said, “with vocals that suggest Harper is John Mayer’s breezier fraternal twin, his tunes are a mix of Seventies country-rock touched by Mississippi blues.”

The concert will be held in Studio A located in Jackson Hall on the WSU campus. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. This is a free event and only 65 people will be allowed entrance.
